Great Location with Delicious Food!
Just a short walk to the beach made it so convenient. The food was fantastic. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety and the 'today's special' dish, especially the pomfret curry, was to die for! I'd suggest they improve the maintenance of the hotel a bit to elevate the overall experience.

proximity to Benaulim beach, well-maintained pool area
The entire hotel requires significant investment to improve basic facilities!!! The bathroom ventilation left much to be desired and the gimmicky balconies definitely need redesigning for practical use!!! Parking options were frustrating!!!

We stayed slightly out of season (end Oct), and was a huge complex. There were probably only approx 10 guests, which made the resort very quiet. Service was typical Indian style-you just have to be patient!
After arriving after 15 hours on the train, and it being a very long day, we were requested to pay our total amount of the bill upfront, before we had even put our bags down or seen the room, a percentage was paid in the end. When checking out, we were told we could pay by credit card and the machine was not working, hence a mercy dash to a local ATM.

Greatly enjoyed its very helpful and excellent co-operating staff.
The location couldn't be more excellent and absolutely perfect in the middle of the city. The food was good - a huge variety of options.

Very quiet and peaceful, beds were really comfy
Staff were quite unfriendly and indifferent. The bedroom was not made up one of the days and we had no clean towels. When I went to let the reception staff know and ask why they just grunted at me! I had already since another guest complain about this on a previous day.

It is perhaps one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The value for money is minimal. We were thinking about staying for a few extra days there but decided not to because of the unfriendliness of the staff - especially on reception - perhaps the managers should perhaps be nicer and more encouraging towards them. Our rooms were not clean, the breakfast was appalling. We ended up finding somewhere much cheaper and lovelier. After talking to people in the town, everyone seems to have the same opinion of the hotel. I feel as if it was falsely advertised and had I not paid I would have refused to pay.

Recommend it for families seeking solace
The food at the resort was quite good, especially the curries at the Sea Wave restaurant, some of the best we had during the trip! We relished every bite every evening with my family after long days at the beach.
It wasn't the cheapest option for the amenities they offered, but definitely acceptable.

Very close to the beach. When we attempted to book for an extra night we were informed that the hotel was fully booked, however, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and found us a similar room at a nearby apartment at a very reasonable price.
There was no restaurant and limited bar, but it's proximity to the beach more than compensates for this as there are many restaurants and bars there. Furthermore, you would be wasting an opportunity if you restricted your stay to the hotel when at Benaulim as the beach bars and restaurants are fantastic

Had a chill 4-night stay at the Orchid in Benaulim. Super close to the beach, and the pool area was nice! The staff, especially Rutwik and Chetan, were really helpful. Just wish the bathroom had better ventilation.

Their service, food and the location.
The price should be more reasonable due to location.

The ac was leaking as if it was heavily raining. Had to ask for a change of room. The bedsheets in the new room were stained. Asked the hotel to change the bedsheets which they did. Time got wasted on account of this. Breakfast was reasonable good.
